About time in Paris

Paris uses Central European Time (UTC+1) in winter and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) in summer. Clocks go forward on the last Sunday of March and back on the last Sunday of October, in step with the rest of the EU. France kept Paris Mean Time as its legal time until 1911, when it switched to GMT, and it moved to Central European Time during the Second World War.
